HTPB crosslinks to isocyanate to form Elastomer (rubber), which has excellent water resistance, chemical resistance, and electrical properties because its parent is a hydrocarbon. In particular, it has excellent mechanical properties and excellent reproducibility during product molding, so it is used in many industries, including high-performance propellant binders.
02
Features
High reactivity: Alllyl type has the first class hydroxyl group
Excellent chemical resistance (acid and alkali) and water resistance
Excellent rubber elasticity: 1,4-bonding 80%
Effective reinforcement is possible: Easy reinforcement with carbon black, white carbon, etc
OIL-EXTENSION is possible: Compatibility with Process Oil, Asphalt, etc. is good
Excellent low temperature resistance: The saturated temperature of the cured product is -70°C or less.
It has excellent electrical properties: It has electrical insulation and dielectric properties, and has less temperature dependence, hygroscopicity, and hygroscopicity
A wide range of physical properties can be adjusted: Applicable in a variety of ways from soft to hard types
